i had a really good birthday!!

gone...

this weekend i am going on a business trip with my mom and aunt. it is for amway global. this is also the 1st time that brandon and i will be apart since we've been married. weird huh? i didn't realize that until he mentioned it last night.

any who.... my mom told me to be at her house with enough time that we could pick up the rental car by the time that they open at 7. i got here a quarter till and she was still packing. she finished packing and now she's in the shower. i could still be at home sleeping in bed with the hubba.

oh well...new years was spent in fremont with brandons grandma, aunt and imediate family. we watched movies... eagle eye and the one where you sneeze when you walk through a dead person...with tea leoni or at least thats what i think her name is...JANE from dick and jane...ghostman? GHOST TOWN!!! it ws pretty funny. you should watch it if you havent. we left shortly after the new year rang in because brandon had to work at 9 thursday morning. ok...

i think i'm gonna take a nap as long as we're not leaving yet. peace out party people.

just because i was looking for pics on my moms laptop. and this is the ONLY one on here. ironic i think.

cristmas 2008

Alright. December 31^st...tomorrow is January. A lot has happened for us this year, we turned 23, we got married, we had a lot of 1^st including a 1^st CRISTMAS!!! we pretty much had 4 Christmases [like the movie] but in the span of 2 days. We went to my dad's family on the eve and had lots of fun there. My brother David cooked all of the food and it was so good!

Here we are with my dad. he's such a crazy guy. we then went home and waited for cristmas!! we woke up about 9-10 am and opened our gifts.

then went out to fremont to be with brandon's family.

from there we went to my mom's and did it all over again.

from there we went to the Rohner's [my best friends family.] for celebrations there. it was really exhausting!!!

all in all it was a great cristmas with lots of family and lots of love!!!!

Dear Family and Friends,

Tis the season to get flooded with Christmas letters — often an overload of long-winded bragging disguised as holiday cheer. So to add to that…we just wanted to wish you all a Merry Cristmas [yes, we know we spelled it “wrong”, but to us it’s right].

We’ve been married for about 9 months now, [we know, we know…”if you’d have gotten pregnant the day of your wedding, you’d be having a baby now…”trust us, you’re not the first person to think it ;)] and things are great.

It didn’t take long to get adjusted to this new way of life for us. Our first Sunday at church we both were given callings. Brandon teaches Sunday school and Cristina serves on the primary board. Soon after, we were given additional responsibilities: Brandon in the Elder’s Quorum Presidency and Cristina an Activity Days Leader. Brandon recently got called as the Elder’s Quorum President, so busy definitely runs in the family.

Cristina started a new job a few months ago, working at a body shop. She’s really enjoying it and looks forward to waking up super early everyday! She like the people she works with and using those good ‘ole customer service skills we all know she’s been blessed with!

Brandon still works for Cinemark Theatres as a Concessions Representative…in other words, a popcorn scooper. He loves it though, and was recently given additional responsibilities along with a raise. Don’t get us wrong, we’re still “newly-wed” poor…but we don’t pay a cent when we go to the movies!
